Liz Kerber
Liz is a User Experience Researcher for GRD. She has a passion for compassion, and for understanding others’ needs, wants, and motivations. As an avid practitioner of active listening, she knows how to ask the right questions so everyone involved has clarity and alignment.
Liz comes to GRD with 7+ years of experience in software development, including two years spent as an instructor of full-stack software engineering. Prior to this she was an applied behavior analysis (ABA) therapist. Understanding the needs of her clients, whoever they are, has always been her paramount goal. Her combined backgrounds in behavior analysis and software engineering have allowed her to practice creating creative solutions for clients with all sorts of needs, while adhering to a wide array of regulations, from tax law to HIPAA.
Education
Liz has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Behavior Analysis from the University of Wisconsin — Eau Claire, with a minor in Business Administration. Her education focused heavily on conducting empirical behavioral research.
