Greg Lawson

Greg Lawson is a seasoned UX leader with over two decades of experience guiding research and design projects of all sizes. Greg has worked in a variety of industries, including healthcare, medical device, financial services, ecommerce, manufacturing, education, and more.

UX Research & Design
Greg approaches research and design through the lens of curiosity and empathy, seeking to deeply understand the people, contexts, and challenges behind every project. He enjoys exploratory research with thoughtful design iteration, uncovering the stories, needs, and motivations that shape meaningful experiences. He excels at bringing concepts to life through high-fidelity and interactive prototypes using tools such as Figma and Axure (and occasionally, the backs of napkins). 

Strategic Facilitation & Stakeholder Alignment
Known for his thoughtful communication style and ability to build trust, Greg excels at guiding workshops, leadership sessions, and decision-making forums. He enjoys uniting product, engineering, and business teams behind a shared vision. Beyond client work, Greg has contributed to organizational culture efforts, mentoring programs, and internal knowledge-sharing platforms, demonstrating a commitment to both people and process in every project he leads.

Past Work
Greg has consulted on projects with Medtronic, 3M, Target, Best Buy, Ecolab, SureScripts, John Deere, ACT, Red Wing Shoes, and nmdp, among others. In all of his projects, Greg enjoys connecting and collaborating with his project team and championing the user.

Education
Greg has a Bachelor of Arts degree from St. Olaf College in Northfield, MN where he majored in English, Religion, and Philosophy – while spending most of his time in the music building where he played cello in the St. Olaf Orchestra and various chamber music ensembles, and sang with the Cantorei Choir.
