Eric Beaudette
Eric is a Human Factors Engineer with a background in medical device research, wearable product design, and research operations. He brings a thoughtful approach to research design and execution, with a focus on streamlined study operations and meaningful research outcomes.
Previously, Eric worked within a Human Factors team at Medtronic, supporting formative and validation usability studies for medical devices and leading strategic research operations initiatives. His academic research on the design and usability of wearable systems shaped his interest in human-centered design and the development of products that account for complex human factors. He specializes in wearability considerations for on-body devices, including fit and sizing, mobility, usability, and thermal and tactile comfort.
Education
Eric holds a Ph.D. in Human Factors and Ergonomics from the University of Minnesota, as well as an M.S. and B.S. in Fiber Science from Cornell University.
