Crystal Compton

Crystal has a background in human-centered product development, design, and human factors. Her work focuses on understanding how people interact with devices and systems and translating those insights into safe, usable, and intuitive design solutions.

Her experience includes usability evaluation, user testing, and the development of wearable and on-body systems involving integrated hardware and soft goods. She has worked across multidisciplinary engineering and design contexts, supporting iterative development, usability studies, and human-centered decision making throughout the product lifecycle.

Education
Crystal holds a PhD and Master of Science degree from the University of Minnesota – Twin Cities in Design-Product Development and Human Factors and Ergonomics, as well as a Bachelor of Science degree in Apparel and Interdisciplinary Design.
