Chris Georgen
Chris Georgen is a User Experience Researcher and Designer with 12 years of experience in UX research, design, and human factors. His work focuses on how people learn and interact with complex systems, ensuring that products are designed to fit meaningfully into real-world contexts. Chris holds a PhD in the Learning Sciences and has 8 years of applied research experience, providing expertise in translating user insights into actionable design. He has worked with interdisciplinary teams to align stakeholder goals with user needs from discovery through implementation. His teaching experience across K–12, undergraduate, and graduate levels brings a strong foundation in learning theory, communication, and mentorship to product teams.
UX Research and Design in Medical Technology
Chris has led UX and human factors efforts across a wide range of medical technologies, including software interfaces, implantable devices, MRI systems, and product labeling. He has conducted generative, formative, and summative usability studies to support product development and regulatory submissions.
